About Matthew Wong

Matthew Wong is a musician, arranger, and educator based in Markham, Ontario.

He attended McMaster University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music, studying under the tutelage of Dr. Pamela Van Weelden. Since graduating, Matthew has continued his musical studies under the guidance of George McElroy, with a focus on developing his piano skills.

Drawing on his academic background and his experience with the McMaster University Choir, Matthew now serves as Vice-President of the Ontario Cross-Cultural Music Society (OCMS), where he also chairs the OCMS Choir. He is additionally a co-founder of the Symphonic Music Institute.

This site showcases his original music arrangements — spanning film scores, anime themes, classical works, and more — along with a set of practice tools he's built for students preparing for RCM exams.
